Shipping & Returns

Within the UK, we will send all items by Courier, by First Class Signed For Recorded Delivery or ParcelForce 48 and a proof of delivery obtained. For all items, a signature will be required and this should be remembered when assiging a delivery address. It is not possible for an item to be left unsigned for. Unless otherwise stated in the item decsription, shipping is charged at a rate of £3 to £4.50 for all items up to 500g, £6.60 up to 1kg, £9.60 up to 2kg, £10.80 up to 5kg, £18.00 up to 10kg with additional charges beyond 10kg. If they are going to Northern Ireland or the Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands or Ireland, a surcharge of £10 is charged on all items over £1kg.

 

Delivery times may very and you should allow a maximum of 7 days from the time we told you that your item had been sent out. If your item(s) arrive in a poor condition or are missing, you must tell us within 3 days. We will contact the carrier and do what we can to fix the problem. This may include sending out a replacement, making a partial refund or refunding your payment in full. Any refund will only be made after the carrier has completed their investigation. No refund will be given if the carrier has delivered the item correctly, obtained a signature on delivery and following their investigation, is satisfied that the dilivery was completed properly.

 

We will send your item to the delivery address given when you order. If you don’t give us a delivery address then your purchase will be sent to the billing address. Once an item has been sent out, a fee of £12.50 must be paid for an item to be re-directed to an alternative address and this will be done only after the item has reached a depot or been returned to us.

 

If you are paying by PayPal, the item must be delivered to the address stated on the PayPal payment email. This address must be a PayPal 'Confirmed / Validated' address within the UK and eligible for Seller Protection.

 

You may return your item for any reason for a full refund within 14 days following the date you received your item. We would however ask you to contact us within the 14 day period so that we can ensure that your return is processed correctly. The item must be returned complete, undamaged, in all the original packaging and in a resaleable condition. A refund will only be made once the item has been received here at DIVE Northampton so you must ensure that an appropriate method of return is chosen and we strongly recommend that the item is fully insured when being returned. We will not be able to issue an refund for any item lost or damaged when being returned to us. 

 

Should the item appear to be faulty or not as described, you may return the item for a replacement or refund within 30 days following the date you received your item. We would however ask you to contact us within the 30 day period so that we can ensure that your return is processed correctly. The item must be returned complete, undamaged, in all the original packaging and in a resaleable condition if appropriate. You must indicate whether you want a refund or replacement. A refund will only be made once the item has been received here at DIVE Northampton so you must ensure that an appropriate method of return is chosen and we strongly recommend that the item is fully insured when being returned. We will not be able to issue an refund or replacement for any item lost or damaged when being returned to us. For complex issues, we may have to ask the Manufacturer to look into the issue and this may take a few working days to complete.

 

Should the item appear to be faulty, you may return the item for a repair, replacement or possibly a proportional refund within 12 months following the date you received your item. We would however ask you to contact us within the 12 month period so that we can ensure that your return is processed correctly. The item must be returned complete and undamaged other than the fault reported. A replacement or repair will only be made once the item has been received here at DIVE Northampton so you must ensure that an appropriate method of return is chosen and we strongly recommend that the item is fully insured when being returned. We will not be able to issue a refund or replacement for any item lost or damaged when being returned to us. Your item will have to be returned to the Manufacturer to look into the issue and assess the best way forward. We will keep you informed of progress but some manufacturers are based outside of the UK and turnaround times may be extended.
