McNett Nitestik glows for up to 10 years. No batteries are required in this photoluminescent light stick which is waterproof to 30 metres.
Inside each Nitestik is a rare earth-activated alkali, that can continuously give out light for over 12 hours at a time. This new pigment which does not contain tritium will recharge under light, then discharge again in the darkness, 365 days of the year, for upto 10 years.
